Our team uses Asana’s Home page and the “My Tasks” widget as our primary daily starting point. Because we manage work for multiple clients, our tasks belong to different Teams (with each Team representing a client).
In the My Tasks widget, the Team/client name is often truncated, making it difficult to quickly identify which client a task belongs to. Currently, users need to click the Team name to see the full name, which takes them away from their Home page and interrupts their workflow.
A simple improvement would be to display the full Team name when hovering over the truncated name, similar to the tooltip behavior used elsewhere in Asana.
This would allow users to quickly identify the client associated with each task without needing to open another page or leave their Home dashboard.
For agencies and teams managing work across multiple clients, this small change would make the My Tasks widget much easier to use as a daily overview.
