set rule based on intake source

I want to set different actions based on how the task was added to the project. It could be manually, task template, form, or even if it’s just dual homed. The Workflow Builder doesn’t seem to accommodate this. Is it possible?

BTW I just noticed in testing the form intake on the Workflow Builder, I can create more than one form in a project??? Is this really recent or am I really behind?

At times, it’s helpful to encourage the use of a form or a task template to enforce structured input for new tasks, thereby discouraging manual task entry from scratch, which can lead to non-standard or incomplete task data. For example, forms are a way to specify required fields in tasks. Task templates can be used to default custom fields, add dependencies, add subtasks, and multi-home, for example. Manual task entry will not be able to enforce any of these things Business or Enterprise plan…

and you’ll see it suggests using custom fields to help you discern from where the task originates.

Also, @Phil_Seeman’s flowsana.net let’s you explicitly have a rule for a form, I believe.

And yes, multiple forms was a very recent thing; you’re not losing it!!
