See other people’s tasks in tasks view

I want to be able to see all the tasks due on a day including those that are currently unassigned. At the moment, in iOS, I can only see those assigned directly to me.

As a manager, I can’t manage using the app so I have to log on to my desk top if I want to use Asana.

Welcome to the Asana Community Forum @Kathy_Millatt!

You can currently see another user’s My Tasks by clicking the Search icon and searching by their name. Alternatively, you can search by a project and you will be able to see unassigned tasks as well.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions

Emily, in my previous job we used Wrike and were able to set up dashboards where I could set up lists of incompleted tasks by assignee. It really helped me and two other people on my team see workload on a weekly basis and shift tasks.

I can’t figure out how to re-create this functionality in Asana.

@Cathy_Hutchison, If you’re on a paid Asana plan, click the search box > Advanced search > enter your criteria (use Add filter as needed) > Search > in search results view Sort by Assignee > click “star” to name and save in your left sidebar for repeated use.

Thanks,

Larry
