I would love to see a way to turn on a “sandbox” mode for project development so I can set up a project and assign people tasks without them being notified or filling up their inbox until I decide the project is set and ready to go. This would allow me to test formats and functionality of projects before my team is confused.
This would be particularly helpful when setting up templates!!!
My work around is to create a private Project, don’t add Project members, and do not add assignees or collaborators. Then when I’m ready I make the Project public, add Project members, assignees, and collaborators.
I also create private Projects to test Asana functionality.
This would also make it easier for developers using the API and writing automated tests for their integrations.
