SAML works fine via Browser but an endless loop using Mobile App

I’m new to Asana and have set-up SAML to work with a browser and works as expected. However, following the login steps to enter Email, clicking Continue with email, clicking Use company Login, SAML works, and redirects to ‘https://app.asana.com/’, clicking Open in the Asana app, takes me right back to the Asana mobile login page. An endless loop. I can tell that my SSO is working and shows success in logs. This only happens in the mobile app. Any suggestions on how to stop the endless looping?

Unfortunately I don’t have the tools to have a closer look into this issue. You can share the URL of this thread with our support team so you don’t need to re-write everything.

Please also confirm the following information to speed up the process:

  • Asana app version
  • Confirm if you have an iOS or Android device
  • OS version
  • If possible, screenshot showing the error or issue
