This rule doesn’t run. When a task that is assigned is changed to remove the assignee (making it not assigned), I expect this rule will run but it doesn’t. What am I doing wrong?
I haven’t tested this but I would not expect a “Task is assigned” trigger to fire when a task is unassigned. I think it would be odd if such a trigger did run in that scenario. Removing an assignee is definitely not assigning a task.

Hi @Gabe5, thanks for your question! @Phil_Seeman is correct. Unassigning a task won’t trigger the rule “Task is assigned”. This will only work when an assignee is selected.
