My company-provided laptop has frequent updates that force-quit my Asana session (desktop app). I would love the ability to restore a session and/or reopen tabs, similar to the functionality of Google Chrome.
Welcome to the forum @Tanner_Pandiscio !
As of yet you can’t restore an entire session, but you can re-open closed tabs using ctrl+shift+t in the desktop-app, just like you can in your browser. ![]()
I took the liberty updating the topic title to reflect that
Am in same boat and our team would LOVE this!
I too would like this feature, which for me is two features:
- reopening all tabs that were previously open
- setting the current screen to be the previously open screen per tab
My use case is that I close the app every weekday evening and open it every weekday morning. Each morning, I waste time manually returning to whatever screen I was viewing (after struggling to recall my “place”). Plus, I am part of multiple organizations. When I restart the app, Asana only opens the organization I last viewed—I need it to open both organizations. (If I had three tabs connected to three orgs, I’d want them all to reopen, up to the nth organization.)
