Request to synchronize Inbox notification settings with orange status mark

Dear Forum Admins,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to bring to your attention a small issue that I’ve noticed with our forum’s Inbox feature. Currently, the orange circle icon that displays recent updates does not seem to be connected to our filter settings.

As a result, even when I filter my Inbox to show only my mentions, the orange mark still appears due to hidden items. This has made the mark somewhat redundant and may cause confusion for users.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could take a moment to look into this issue and fix it so that the orange circle icon only appears when there are new updates that match our filter settings.

Hello @Alexei_Molchan,

as far as I know this is currently how it is supposed to be. There have already been a few questions regarding this in the forum and the orange notification currently refers to all, meaning it does not consider whether you have a filter on or not.
However I do understand why it would be convenient for you to only show for the relevant filtered messages.
