Removing a multi-select option on a form.

How do I correctly remove a multi-select option and its associated branch?

If I delete the option in the multi-select, the associated branch gets a red strikethrough its title and a popup that says “This option no longer exists. Change option to fix the branch.”

I want that branch to be completely gone. Any suggestions?
