Hey everyone,
anyone else noticed, that with the newest update the function to summarize a task has been removed?
In the past, within the task description, one could select to summarize the task (including all comments) and add this summary as a comment or paste it as the new task description.
Now, only the “Asana Dash” button is available within the task description and the side panel opens up on the side where I then describe how to summarize the task. Rather cumbersome.
Am I the only one missing this feature already?
Greetings, Jessica
Hi Jessica.
Actually the feature has been moved to the task menu (top right).
Hi Arthur,
the task bar is on top now, yes. And it has a button for Asana dash. But using this button within the task bar only opens up the side panel on the right.
(In the past: Automatic Summary function within the task description.)
Hi @Jessica_Stritzelberg have you tried to click the 3 dots on the top right of the task, this dropdown shows Summarize Task
Is that what you were looking for? But I agree, it was useful in the comments panel.
Hi @Rebecca_Hassett , yes, exactly. Didn’t know that I could find it there as well. Thanks for the help!
yes, it moved but luckily its still there - just1 extra click i suppose!
