Hello everyone.
I am creating an Asana Template, and we need to be able to pull names into a field from a database, tag them as the assignee, then populate additional Asana fields from the database and add in collaborators. Once the ticket is complete, we need to then return information from the ticket (the date completed is most important) to the database.
Do we need to use something like Zapier, or is this possible natively?

You’ll definitely need a tool like Zapier, Make, or perhaps flowsana.net; you won’t be able to do all this natively in Asana.
