Project Status Drop-down Doesn't Appear on New Projects

The drop-down field to “Set status” for a project does not appear when the project is first created. You have to leave the project and then go back to it… then the drop-down appears… then you can set your status.

I believe this drop-down should appear instantly when creating a new project.

We we first started using Asana the option was there from the start, but during one of the updates this changed and caused our team frustrations (digging to other areas to find it). Agree this should be visible from the start!
