Progress Update Time Duration

I provide regular updates to all my stakeholders using the Asana stuatus update feature. I really like the new layout and the ability to drag certain milestones and tasks in the update.

One thing I find now a bit restricting is that I cannot go more than 4 weeks to pull milestones and tasks out. While I understand this is not something that is not used often, I find myself now providing an annual update to the health of the project.

I would like to be able to pull into the update all the milestones we achieved in 2020 but I am unable to do so. I have instead been typing the updates and useing the ‘@’ to be able to bring the milestone / task up.

I would really like to be able to select the date range (3 months, 6 months or past 12 months).

Any body else is having similar use case?

I completely agree. It’s the same for us where we have projects running for months. They should at least provide another option perhaps “Date range” so one can simply choose the specific timeframe to pull the data from.

Thanks for your feedback! This is a very good request! Our team will keep working on improving these features and your use case is very helpful. I’ll keep you posted if we have plans to implement this feature in the future :raised_hands:
