Still nothing hereā€¦

ā€¦any response?

Hi @Marie ,

Do you have an update on this blank add-in issue?

In my case I cannot uninstall the add-in because it is not listed among the COM Add-ins. I can only remove the add-in from my Outlook account.

Even when I do remove it from Outlook account and re-add it. The issue persists. Please provide an update.

Thank you

I have been using the add-in for quite a while now, but today, the add-in shows a blank screen and there is no prompt to login.

Could an update to the browser be the problem?

I am on an iMac using Mojave 10.14.6 (for production reasons I cannot upgrade) and Outlook is version 16.54. I believe that is the newest version I can use with my OS.

Iā€™m also having this issue. Is there a workaround?

I am also having this issue. Has anyone found a solution? Why isnā€™t it posted?

@Marie , could you please look into this?

Hi @Omnisciens, have you tried to unistall and re-install the add-on? There high chances this will solve your issue.

Hi @Marie , I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the add-on several times. In between those actions I also tried to shutdown Outlook, update Outlook, restart Windows, nothing seems to be working.

I have decided to ask you, because I can see that so many people have reported this problem for the last few years and yet there is no information on the internet on how to fix it. This issue appears in dozen of threads which all finish with ā€œcontact supportā€. I have already done that, but it makes me wonder, is it unfixable or if it is, why hasnā€™t that been posted anywhere?

Thanks @Omnisciens, there are many reasons why an integration can break and all cases reported in the forum are unlikely to have the same root issue and resolution.

I think the best next course of action is to work with our support team (How to contact our Support Team āœ‰) to resolve your specific issue. Once you have found a solution, feel free to share what worked for you here, it will likely save other folks running into the same problem some time in the future!

Iā€™m resurrecting this dead forum post because I havenā€™t heard anything back from support. I am having the same ā€œgrey boxā€ error with the Outlook plugin. I drilled a little deeper using Edge DevTools. My DevTools is reporting the following error:

The Content Security Policy (CSP) prevents the evaluation of arbitrary strings as JavaScript to make it more difficult for an attacker to inject unathorized code on your site.
To solve this issue, avoid using eval(), new Function(), setTimeout([string], ...) and setInterval([string], ...) for evaluating strings.
If you absolutely must: you can enable string evaluation by adding unsafe-eval as an allowed source in a script-src directive.
āš ļø Allowing string evaluation comes at the risk of inline script injection.

MicrosoftAjax.js seems to be unable to Deserialize the JSON. Iā€™d like to actually talk to support about whether this is a bug that can be fixed and if I can help out in that effort.
