Permissions When Integrating Asana + Github

In my organization we take extra measures to make sure that every employee has access only to information relevant for his/her day to day work.

We want to start integrating Asana + Github but we are worried that people will have access to Asana Project on the one hand and Github Repository on the other hand, when they should not have that access.

For example, assuming one has access to Asana Project “foo” that linked to Github Repository “bar”, however she does not have permissions for the “bar” repository (not even read permissions). What will she see when looking on tasks in project “foo”? Will she see only PR names, or the entire code of that PR?

Those questions are really important for us before integrating Asana and Github.

Hi @Sagi_Shadur,

I am not familiar with Github, and it is a very new integration to Asana. I have provided a link below regarding the integration that you may find helpful. If this does not help, I would open a support ticket with Asana and they will be able to answer your questions. I have provided the link to the support team as well. Thanks!

Hey @Mike_Tammaro , thanks for replying!

Unfortunately, the link you sent doesn’t answer my question. I sent a question via the Help-Desk.
Once I get an answer, I will share it in this post
