We just converted from Microsoft Project so that is my baseline comparison… Is there any way to make the Parent task’s dates update based on the dates set for the sub tasks. E.g., at the top level of the project we have several high-level tasks to bucket different team’s work/efforts. So “Engineering Design” is the top level task that has 11 subtasks that are semi-linear and will have dependencies on each other and will be assigned to various individuals but when we look at the project overall, we don’t need that task expanded, we just need to see overall when the design work will be completed. I want the top level task to take the earliest subtask start date and the latest subtask due date and use that for the date range. Is it possible? I’m building a project that I will convert to a template so if it’s tedious, I’m up for it if I only have to do it once.
