"Pages" API/MCP support & lack of doc features

Been using and considering Asana for myself/team, using it alongside some other tools in the market, and quickly realized that it does not have any API support for read or write to pages/docs.

I like the platform, but this & the lack of general doc-work features continues to be a blocker. Docs are a big part of my day-to-day (as I know it is for many others) and it’d be great to see this implemented. Most Asana alternatives have this sort of functionality already - would need this to consider centralizing work in Asana.

Thanks!

Hi @nyousuf and welcome to the forum,

FYI I moved your post to the English Forum > Developers & API forum section which houses all API and MCP Sever related topics.

Hi, @nyousuf and welcome to the Asana Forum!

Thank you for the feedback. I completely agree that exposing Pages through the Asana API would unlock a wide range of automation and integration use cases.

At the moment, Pages aren’t available through the API. The good news is that our team is actively working on a Pages API. While I can’t share a specific release timeline yet, I can say that the work is already at a fairly advanced stage, so we’re hopeful it will be available in the near future.

I know that’s probably not the immediate answer you were hoping for, and I appreciate your patience in the meantime. I’d recommend keeping an eye on our Developers & API > Changelog, where we’ll announce the release as soon as the Pages API becomes publicly available.
