Outlook link on Asana does not work

Hello, Asana generates an email link to Outlook, but when I click it, the Outlook link opens in Firefox and shows that the email has been moved or removed. I’m unsure how to resolve this issue.

Few things I recommend to check:

  • If this is an Asana-generated Outlook email link, try opening it directly in Outlook desktop or Outlook on the web instead of Firefox.
  • If it only fails in Firefox, check whether Firefox is set as the default handler for Outlook/web mail links and whether your Microsoft session is signed into the right account.
  • If the email may have been archived, deleted, moved to another mailbox, or generated from a shared mailbox, confirm the email still exists in Outlook and that you have access to it.
