Outlook integration - new tasks sometimes in first section, sometimes not

Can someone explain why when I add an email as a task via the Outlook add-in, sometimes the task is placed in the first section of the project, in other instances the task is created at the top of the project, not in any section.

I’m guessing it has something to do with how the project is set up but I can’t figure out what it is to have things consistently either go to the first section, or no section.

Hi @Andrea_Zenner, welcome to the Asana Community Forum

It’s not possible to select a specific Project section to send your task to when using the Outlook integration. I believe you’re right in that where the task lands is a result of the project set up but I can’t confirm the exact reason!

If you’re interested in looking into this further, I’d suggest reaching out to our Support team who have access to tools to test this deeper for you

@Rebecca_McGrath Thanks much for the response. I will reach out to the Support team.
