When I sort by date in a project and a task starts earlier than another task, I’d expect it to be ABOVE the other task. Right now, it’s below. If I need to start on it earlier (the 10th), i’d want to see it higher in the list than something that is due on the 11th even though they are both due on the same date

Thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback! I believe the current logic is that the end date of the date range is the due date so the task will be positioned along with other tasks that share a due date with the end date of the date range 
However, I can defintely envision how your suggestion would be useful! Hopefully this is something our Product team can implement in the future. I’ll keep you updated on this thread
