Currently the only sorting option for sections in My Tasks is alphabetical, but a project’s name has nothing to do with its importance or priority. Working out of My Tasks is a great way to view all project tasks at once, but being able to bring your most pressing projects to the top of the page (and generally order as needed) would be far more efficient. The great part of My Tasks is the holistic view of all work that needs to be done, and being able to manually rearrange the project sections would really allow users to focus on what they need to, based on their own needs. It seems like it might be a fairly easy lift, let’s do it! ![]()
Hi @anon3513635 and welcome to the forum!
Is it correct that your request is specifically for the case where one is grouping My Tasks by project? I updated the title of your post to reflect this, since there a lot of other ways one can group My Tasks, but let me know if that’s not accurate.
Hi @Phil_Seeman yes you are correct! I’m still new-ish to Asana, sorry to have missed that distinction in my title
That seems like one of the most logical groupings to use, and is what I meant. Thanks!
