Is there a way to "lock a task that is dependent on another from being marked as complete? I’m confused at the point of marking something as “waiting on” another if it really doesn’t matter if that step is done or not
You can’t lock any task from being completed. But being a collaborator of a task allows you to be notified. Maybe others have alternative solutions?

I think at this stage the “waiting on” is a feature being developed further. It is used to develop a visual timeline feature which will be rolled out soon. But tasks cannot be locked in at this stage.

Yeah, I guess I see the visual piece but I’d like an option to turn on the true “next” action type setup. A dependencies is really just a loose tie if you can supercede it.
