In my marketing workplace, all top-level tasks for deliverables are multi-homed in a continuous master project and a time-bound project for their respective campaign. All of those time-bound projects are in a master portfolio. Most of this is automated and done for assuring access and data tracking.
Sometimes a deliverable slips through the cracks and doesn’t get multi-homed to the master project. I’m struggling to create a clean method of identifying those missing top-level tasks.
This Asana Forum post from 2018 is the closest to answering this, but doesn’t quite bring me home.
The search I have in mind is:
- Type: Task
- Located: “In portfolios” (master portfolio) *and* “Not in this project” (master project)
Does anyone have a different solution for this, or a lead to move me in that direction?
