Not receiving email notifications when a task I'm following is complete by someone else

I’m currently not receiving email notifications for when a task is complete, even though I am a follower of that task. I receive the in Asana site notification but not an email. I have checked my settings and it is toggled on.

Update: I don’t receive an immediate email notification but I did receive a “Get Caught Up” email 2 hours later about unread notifications where it’s listed

we are having the same issue on our end. We are trying to get a live agent to talk to but we can’t seem to be able to. We’ve sent a ticket an email and tried chat. How can we get someone on the phone to help us troubleshoot this issue? We’ve gone through the steps in your guide.
