Hello!
I’ve noticed a few small but important issues in the Asana desktop app since migrating to the new accounts system. I have two accounts and three workspaces.
- When I use the Cmd-Shift-+ shortcut to create a new task, it is not in the account/workspace I have open and there is no way I can see to change this.
- When I attempt to export data from a project, I get this error:
The workaround is switching accounts in my web browser, but this is really inconvenient.

@jellierf - it sounds like you might have two separate issues/questions here. For better solutions and responsiveness from the community and for easier categorization of topics, I’d encourage you to split multiple questions each into their own post.
I don’t have any input at the moment for your first question.
However, the 2nd issue, the problem with the exports, may have been linked to a recent outage that affected rules and background actions, including exports.

Sorry about that! I figured they were both related to the new account system and not any outages since after switching accounts in the web browser i can consistently export. (And the first issue is clearly related to the account system imo). For the export issue, I would expect a “Sign in to your other account” dialog similar to what happens when I switch tabs in the app instead of an error. I will split into separate topics though, thank you!

Oh interesting. Valid point. That may very well be accurate, both related to the new account structure changes.
