Multiple subtasks created from one subtask

Multiple substasks are being created by one subtask. Does anyone know why this happens? There are several instances of this happening across multiple task/subtasks.

This is usually due to a recurring subtask being placed on a recurring task… Is this the case?

I think it just may be. Is it correct to say, a child task does not require recurring scheduling if if the parent tasks is scheduled to recur? Thank you!

So how do we track due dates for subtask and ad track them to project completion? I am not seeing a way to automate recurring subtasks without creating this multiplication problem. I may watch the videos but this seems less than intuitive.

Correct

Here is a suggested solution.
