I would like to be able to move tasks from projects to “My Tasks”. I know how to move them from project to project, but sometimes that’s not helpful, especially when something that used to be a shared responsibility becomes a sole responsibility. Furthermore, as people start to understand “My Tasks” more, it will make migrating personal “To Do” projects over.

Tasks in your My Tasks live both in My Tasks and the project the belong to, so if you want to move them from their project to My Tasks, just make sure the task is assigned to you and you can remove it from its original project following. This way the task won’t show in its original project and it will be available in your My Tasks.
