Minimizing duplicate task entries -- looking for ideas.

Hello Asana team,

We’re using Asana to track work orders – work orders have a 6 digit unique ID – sometimes duplicates are being added to the schedule. I’m cleaning up duplicates by exporting CSV then run conditional formatting in excel to find duplicate work order numbers. I’m thinking there’s a better way to minimize duplicate entries – any ideas?

Is there a way to show duplicate tasks/notify the user when a similar task is added?

@Christopher, I believe you may be able to do this with zapier.com but I believe it would require a paid plan. Maybe flowsana.net can help (also paid). /cc @Phil_Seeman

Afraid there’s nothing in Flowsana that would catch a duplicate, sorry.
