"Merge Duplicate Tasks" option missing from "Advanced Actions" sub-menu

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing: the “Merge Duplicate Tasks” menu option is missing from the “Advanced Actions” task sub-menu. Similarly, legacy keystroke shortcut TAB-SHIFT-D fails to initiate this feature. Issue similar to Merge task option not available - #5 by Helio_Fitas, except desired function not available on Advanced Actions sub-menu either.

Steps to reproduce: Select target task to merge, click three-dot context menu, select “Advanced Action”

Browser version: Google Chrome Version 96.0.4664.110 (Official Build) (64-bit)

And you have edit access to this task not only comment access correct?

Then I also recommend going through the troubleshooting and if that does not help it is best to contact Asana support and I am sure they will be able to have this resolved for you :slight_smile:

You neither have “Convert to a project option”, that is really weird, Andrea might be on the right track asking for permissions.
