Make available actions in views consistent

It is incredibly confusing and frustrating that what actions are available on entities depends on what view you are in. It breaks your workflow to see Asana as a puzzle to accomplish what you want - what you could do in one view is not available in another, so you have to try to recall and change to the view here it as possible. E.g., adding an item to a project; to a section; removing the item from a project/section; adding as a subtask to another (this has particularly strange restrictions); closing a ticket; changing tags; changing the order of subtasks.

It seems to make no sense that despite having the entity in front of you, there are have different options to what you can do with it. It is understandable that some options like changing the description would not be possible without opening up details for the item, but single-click options for common actions should be available; and all actions related to an information that has the entity as the primary owner should be feasible from that entity.

Hi @anon83562614, welcome to the Asana Community Forum

Thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback!

While this feature isn’t available at this time, hopefully it’s something our Product team can implement in the future.

I’ll keep you posted and let you know if we have any updates
