Locked fields

Hi,
I have a shared project - where most members have and should have access to edit most of the task info. However, I want to ensure that certain fields example deadline is not change by anyone other than me or selected people. Can this be done? Or is this a feature in the pipeline?
Similar to an excel cell that you can lock.
