Let’s see if any of these options address your needs. It sounds like your idea is to assign existing tasks to a new team member who has taken their place, is that correct? Your first step will be to add the new team member to Asana. Next, you could do one of two things:
One option would be to reassign the tasks to a new person. Just do an advanced search for the original person’s tasks, then multi select all of them and assign them to the new person.
Another option is to deprovision someone from the organization. You can find the steps for deprovisioning a user here https://asana.com/guide/help/premium/admins . This is a helpful resource for Admins in general.
