In Excel, the shortcut Ctrl + ; inserts today’s date instantly.
In Asana, it would be extremely helpful to have a similar keyboard shortcut when editing a due date or a date field, to quickly set it to “today” without typing or using the mouse.
This would significantly improve speed and ergonomics for users who manage tasks daily and rely heavily on keyboard shortcuts.
I could see this being useful. I’m currently using text expander to do this (can be done via Raycast text snippets too I think).
That said, when I’m using the date picker I usually just type in a word like “today” and Asana recognizes what I mean and adds the date.
