Is there (I would like) a way to mark a due date as "TBD" without setting the due date

Our options on due dates are currently:

  1. Nothing
  2. A date (and time, start/finish)
We often add tasks in Asana without a due date, so we can add them later. But because there is no way to know the difference between a blank date field and a date we plan to set later, it creates some overhead.
Like the recurring due date feature, we’d like to add another class of info to the date of “TBD” or something that shows that we intend to set a due date.

@BenHuh, For now, a potential workaround would be either:

  1. Tag these with Date TBD so you can note them (and search for them), or
  2. Use a “special” date like 01/01/1901 for the same reasons.

Hope one might help if you hadn’t already ruled out,

Hi @BenHuh and welcome to the Asana Forum :wave:t3:

As it stands, there is no built in option for TBD dates, but @lpb workaround is probably the best one available at the moment! feel free to create a new thread in the #productfeedback category if you wish to!
