Is there a way to disallow inheritance of fields in sub tasks. I have custom fields in tasks and different custom fields in sub tasks, which is assigned to a different project, and want to disallow the visability of the parents fields?
Hi @Scott_Williams10 , it is not clear from your post which surface or Asana app you are referring to.
On the desktop app, in the task details pane, the fields are ‘collapsed’ and so a user would need to click on the blue text ‘Show inherited fields’ to expose them and be able to populate or view them.
Unfortunately, the mobile app currently works differently, exposing all inherited fields. Perhaps that is your issue?
