# Introduction to Asana bookmarklets

Update:

- I archived [2-2-5. 👤 Just My Tasks](https://forum.asana.com/t/introduction-to-asana-bookmarklets/184620#h-2-2-5-just-my-tasks-15) and [2-3-1. ☰ Resize sidebar](https://forum.asana.com/t/introduction-to-asana-bookmarklets/184620#h-2-3-1-resize-sidebar-17) with strikethrough because they are no longer relevant due to the changes in Asana UI. Especially, [the sidebar is now resizable natively](https://forum.asana.com/t/coming-soon-asana-redesign-to-help-you-find-what-you-need-quickly-and-easily/335710) in Asana 🙂
- I’m keeping the index numbers for consistency for when I add new ones in the future. The JavaScript code can be referenced in the history of the [GitHub repository](https://github.com/ShunSakurai/asana-bookmarklets) if needed.

Hi! Is there any way to toggle subtasks in timeline view? I don’t find the option allows me to do so when in that view currently.

Hello @ShunS . Great work done here, thank you 🙂 I find one bookmarklet particularly usefull in my case “Toggle subtask” but it does not appear to work anymore. After running it on a list view it just blinks for couple of times and then displays nothing. Occasionaly it manages to display expanded subtask but only as a placeholder “Loading more subtasks” without any content like subtask name loaded. Can you please confirm it is still working?

- [2-1-5. View task/messages in full width](https://forum.asana.com/t/introduction-to-asana-bookmarklets/184620#p-394229-h-2-1-5-desktop_computer-view-taskmessages-in-full-width-9) now supports messages. Asana has made many good updates with task widths 👏
- [2-2-2. ▷ Toggle subtasks](https://forum.asana.com/t/introduction-to-asana-bookmarklets/184620#p-394229-h-2-2-2-toggle-subtasks-12) now supports timeline view. I adjusted time interval to fix the timing issue.

- 🆕 I added [2-3-2. Copy title and URL](https://forum.asana.com/t/introduction-to-asana-bookmarklets/184620#p-394229-h-2-3-2-copy-title-and-url-19). You can easily copy and paste links like the image below:

Hi @ShunS, I wrote this bookmarklet to expand all the “Load more subtasks” button until all subtasks are loaded in a parent task:

  - Increased stability in List view
  - Dropped support of Board view
  - No change in Timeline view

I confirm the following code works perfectly ✨  
I changed the curly quotes to straight ones.

```auto
javascript: (async function() {
	let button;
	while ((button = document.querySelector('.SubtaskGrid-loadMore'))) {
		button.click();
		await new Promise(resolve => setTimeout(resolve, 500));
	}
})();

```

However, I believe no action is easier than one click, so I’d still recommend the [Asana Load More](https://github.com/doctafaustus/asana-load-more) extension ([installation steps](https://forum.asana.com/t/an-invitation-to-the-world-of-chrome-extensions/482843)) rather than adding your code to my bookmarklets list.

The “toggle subtasks” function doesn’t seem to work when there are a lot of tasks—over 100. Any advice?

@ShunS I’m also having trouble getting this to work. Does it matter which browser I use? I tried on Edge and Chrome. Nothing happens when I click on the bookmarklet.
