Hello, this seemed like an easy straight forward task but now I’m stuck. I’m trying to accumulate biweekly Sprint velocity (points) in a “Overall Sprint Velocity” field, but can’t find a way for the OSV field to add to the previous points as it just replaces it with the input from SV field every time it changes. Any help is appreciated//C
Hi Claes, could you elaborate more please, it’s a bit hard to understand exactly what you’re trying to achieve.
Is it just for a single task, multiple tasks or for the entire project for example?
I believe a number field would solve this at the section level, but I feel like maybe you’re trying to do something different. You could also add a formula field to potentially do the addition for you.
If you can provide more details, I may be able to point you in the right direction!

Hi Ludwig, let’s see if I can do better. I have two number fields that are added to together in a third field (Sprint velocity). I need a way to increment the existing number in third field with the new sprint velocity number every two week. Lets say sprint velocity for sprint 1 was 20 and sprint 2 was 23…I need to be able to have a field where it keeps the number 20 and adds the 23 and sprint 3 will add to the value 43 . Hope that makes more sense? Thx//C
Forgot to address the single/multiple/project task question. The point system I’m trying to solve applies to every task in a particular project. All tasks will have points associated with them that will sum up to a total number of points for the project. All this has been solved except the accumulative sprint velocity formula described in my previous answer.
