I’ve struggled greatly trying to reduce the amount of unnecessary things popping up in my inbox.
Inevitably, I end up with something important getting lost it the “pile” despite the fact that I actually try to keep my inbox cleared out daily. This is usually after taking a day or two off or if we have MAJOR projects going on that swamp my inbox. Or, if I take a vacation.
It’s almost always when someone tags me.
For users like myself who get probably dozens of notifications a day, it would be very helpful if we had a way of automated categorizing.
I would like to suggest you give us an inbox that has a bit of a “Board View” across the top with 4 columns.
1st Column is for high priority things like when we’re tagged by name, or something assigned to us is coming due.
2nd Column is just status updates for tasks, projects, etc.
3rd Column is ______? Ideas?
