CSV Import to Project: Increase current limit of 2000 rows for each import

Import > CSV is currently limited to 2000 rows of data. It would nice to remove this limit. I had to truncate my data file for the process to run, instead of just importing the first 2000 rows.

It’s also very slow.

I have not tried this experiment but if I run Import > CSV on the remainder of the file will Asana append the data to the end of the task list or overwrite the current data?

I ran an experiment and saw that Import > CSV will append each new import, even if the same file, to the end of the existing data. I can at least import files with more than 2000 rows of data in pieces.

Yes, @Gerald_Garcia, that’s the best workaround for now. You can do repeated imports of different sections of the original file to the same project in order to eventually get all content imported. Just keep them in the same order.

Hi @Forum-team , can please we edit this title to something like: “CSV Import: Increase limit of rows” which would help with search results and perhaps boost the voting?
