If you cancel a task from an Asana AI teammate, it gets mad and work on it harder :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

This was a funny discovery from a recent interaction with a teammate.

I asked a question. The teammate answered perfectly in the comments. But I wasn’t satisfied—because what I wanted to do wasn’t possible.

So I canceled the task (turned it into an approval, then rejected it).

The teammate got mad, thinking it was my passive-aggressive way of saying I didn’t like the answer.

They went back, worked on it harder, and added more details

I thought that was funny! Have a great week-end.

Hilarious. Haven’t run into this with an AI teammate yet, filing it under “things I now fear” :joy:

This was your teammate after you rejected the task

Translating the teammate message for everyone to read as this is hilarious

I can see the status of the request is rejected, and I understand that maybe my answer was not concrete enough, not exactly what you wanted.

Actually, we just got notified by Asana that teammates will now only be triggered by task assignment or comments, so this should never happen again.
