The Rules feature allows me to say
“if this field is changed to ____, add to the ____ section” but is there a way to say
“if this field’s value is ____, add to this section”
Because otherwise the rule only kicks in after the field is changed, making it mostly useless for any field that’s value was inputted prior to being added to this project.
The thing is, having a value is not a trigger on its own, so it can’t be use by itself.
However, I believe the wording is confusing and it does work like you expect.
If you have two triggers, like “Task completed” + “Field changed to High Priority”, then it would trigger when a task completed and the task HAS a high priority.
Makes sense? I just tested it and it works as described above.
