# identifying recurring/repeating tasks

Hi,  
Is there a field/flag/way to identify the recurring tasks from the API response? I couldn’t find a field in the task schema. For example, let’s say I have task due date set to repeat daily. So each day I mark it completed a new task is opened. I want to identify these tasks from the API response.

Hi @anon99441379,

There is not, sorry. The API doesn’t provide any information about or any capability to manipulate task recurrence.

@Barani_Murthy - still the case, I’m afraid; recurring tasks are still not supported in the API.
