I created a task and it has seemed to disappear without me doing anything. Cannot locate in 'tasks I've created' or 'deleted tasks'

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:

I created a task last night (2/7) called “Update Credit Card Data”. I added it to another board everything was good and this morning, it is gone and not located in ‘deleted tasks’ or ‘task I’ve created’. I had the task as a subtask in another board called Credit Cards - Q1 2022 and added to another board called Product Research Pipeline. It is not showing as a subtask or being added to the other board.

Steps to reproduce:

Go to the task link, and notice how it does not load or says you need permission - Log in - Asana (ticket in video shows a different link which redirects to the URL above) Video showing the bug continuing (luckily the email was forwarded)

Browser version:
Chrome (Version 98.0.4758.82 (Official Build) (64-bit))

Upload screenshots below:

If you see the ticket in there now, it did not reappear, I recreated it

Hi @Rachel_Daniel, welcome to the Asana Community Forum

I’d suggest reaching out to our Support team with the URL of the task in question and the screenshots you’ve mentioned above. As our Support team has access to additional tools that we don’t have on the Community team, they’ll be able to investigate this further for you.

You can reach the Support team by following these steps: https://forum.asana.com/t/new-how-to-contact-support-thread/87842

Hey @Rebecca_McGrath Thanks for following up, but the link you shared seems to 404/not exist for me. Do you have a link that works or point me in the right direction?

Thanks for following up, @Rachel_Daniel. Strange, the link works okay for me: https://forum.asana.com/t/new-how-to-contact-support-thread/87842.

  1. Access asana.com/support
  2. Select “I’m having trouble with”
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select “Let’s talk”

I hope this helps!

Thank you @Rebecca_McGrath!
