Hello,
I am an student that signed up for a free Asana trial. I’m not sure if the initial period that has some extra functions for free has expired. Anyway, the problem is that I can’t see a price tab to the right of the “task name”, “date range” and “duration” tabs. In fact those 3 are the only tabs that I can see in Gantt Chart view, with the calendar timeline to the left of “duration”. I have been like crazy looking at how I can add a price to every task without success. I’ve been looking to the apps but I can’t see if any of them would provide what I am looking for. I searched for this in Duckduckgo without success. I tried Monday and its screen is much more what I would spect from a project management software and it includes the price tab. What am I missing with Asana?

This is not a native field to Asana, and it seems like you created a custom field for “Price” in one of your projects & need it for all.
The only way to keep custom fields is to upgrade to a paid version of Asana. Then, you could create a global custom field, and add that field to each project you need it in.
I hope this helps,
Christine

Yes, that has been very helpful. Thank you, Christine.
Caveat: be aware that even if you have a custom field “Price”, you won’t be able to display it as a column in the Gantt view. That view has only the fixed set of columns you see; you can’t ad custom fields as columns in that view.
