Hi folks, we have a project where all leads are tracked.
The leads get converted to a Project once a purchase order is received.
Up until that point, information is attached to the job which is still a ‘task’.
Once converted to a project. The attachments and information do not carry over. I know it creates a link in the project description which mentions exactly this. HOWEVER our engineers do not have the permissions to view the project. Where the task originates from.
I have tried adding attachments to the newly converted project. But these are also not visible on the engineers android tablets? All they can see is the projects sections?
I have also added the video to the Key Resources section of the project, but again, this does not appear to be visible from the android app tablet view?
Any advice on where we are going wrong or how to fix this?
Hi @Max_Middleton, thanks for posting. Can you confirm if they can view the attachments from the web app? This would help us understand if it’s an app issue.
Hi @Max_Middleton, no worries at all. You are correct, unfortunately the Overview tab is not available on the Android app yet, but hopefully it will be added in a future update.
As for the issues with attachments, we couldn’t replicate this on our end. I’d recommend having the users who are experiencing issues reinstall the app to clear the cache and cookies, and ensure they’re using the latest version. If the problem continues, please have them reach out to our Support team so they can check into specifics like project and user permissions. If Support confirms it’s an app-related issue, they can escalate it directly to our Mobile team.
