How to receive new task notifications on slack with 100% unconditional reliability?

This is Wrong Wrong Wrong.

I absolutely positively do need to be able to receive new task notifications on slack with 100% unconditional reliability, rather than conditionally upon unspecified, undocumented and unpredictable heuristiscs that Asana uses to determine whether I am “active in Asana” during any given millisecond.

Is there ANY way to achieve that goal, no matter how difficult? I am willing to dedicate a full week of full time work to make this happen, THAT’s how badly I need it.

I have extensive experience building custom python integrations with Asana. This is something I’ve implemented already in the past and would be happy to help you set it up if you still haven’t found a reliable solution. With custom code, we can do much more than with just Zapier alone.
