We had some users that were setup in error as team members instead of guests. How can I change them to guests without completely deleting their profiles and losing all of their assigned tasks?

Hi @Jessica_Holt, welcome to the Asana Community Forum
In order to transition a Member to a Guest, you will need to have this user add an email address with a domain that is not associated with your account first, and then remove this user from the Organisation and re-add them back,
