How to limit user access only to his/her tasks?

Good day, I need to make a decision regarding using Asana or not. I did some basic searching, but didn’t find the clear answer for the main question that I have:

The core of the team has to have access to all it’s tasks and information, but there’s also another part - the freelancers, that need to see and work only with a list of tasks assigned to them, not the whole project. Can it be achieved simply by NOT adding freelancers to a team or project?

HI @Alex_Batman and welcome to the Forum :wave:t3:

The best way to have someone to be able to access only tasks assigned to them is to manually add them to these tasks as opposed to entire projects. If you invite someone to a task level, they won’t be able to see the entire project, but just the tasks you have added them to!

You can learn more about this in this handy article: Asana tasks - understanding the basics | Product guide • Asana Product Guide

There also some similar discussion in the Forum you might find helpful, I’ve listed a few just below:

Hope this helps! Have a great Friday
