How to handle Addresses for a Home Services Business

Asana badly needs an address custom field, with typehead and validation for addresses.

I’m coming out of a tech background and have used Asana in the past to manage a portfolio of clients and had great success. I have since changed jobs, and am trying to implement Asana in a home services/construction business and it is perfect in almost every way, except an inability to reliably validate and store addresses without having to use the very buggy and cumbersome “TaskMap” app. We actually created our own custom app component to help handle this, but using a custom app does not allow us to copy/duplicate tasks when they need to be or easily access the addresses on mobile.

I cannot stress this enough: THIS IS PROHIBITIVE AND WE WOULD NOT HAVE CHOSEN ASANA IF WE KNEW THAT THIS ADDRESS ISSUE WAS GOING TO BE SUCH A PROBLEM. I am, however, now pretty committed to Asana as the staff loved everything else about it so much that it sort of took off. I feel like this is a pretty small feature to add that would unlock a really large market that this software is otherwise perfect for. This is possible in Airtable, Google Sheets, and Monday.com, so I’m wondering why Asana can’t get on board here.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to best handle this until we can get this feature from Asana?
