# How do I ensure that a team member gets notified of the next task?

How do I ensure that a team member gets notified of the next task that is dependent on a colleague finishing a prior task at the moment that the colleague finishes that prior task?

At the moment all the tasks assigned to a team member appears in their ‘My Tasks’ irrespective of the status of preceding tasks not yet done by their colleagues.

Is that correct?

Where went to get to is each team member looking in My Tasks and seeing the next thing they need to do depending on each other completing tasks.

And, can this be done without setting dates?
